I believe it's good to use that I want to share with all of you! (Wantyoutube is available for general PC, Mac)

(1) Wantyoutube is a webpage that supports lots of video-sharing websites such as: Youtube, Metacafe, Myspace, 5min, Break, Current, Dailymotion, Facebook,Google Video, ku6, Megavideo, Megaporn, Photobucket, Sina, Spike, Tudou, Veoh, Vimeo, Yahoo Videos, FC2, Yam, Youku, Xuite, Xvideos, 56.com (and other nearly 360 sites..if you need more, maybe you can drop a line to Wantyoutube...I guess...)


(2) Java plug-in is needed for Wantyoutube. Don't feel upset. Most famous downloading webpages like this need it, including KEEPVID. JAVA plug-in is a free tool worldwide that most computers have. If you don't have one, you can get Java for free from here, and test your Java here. Then close your browser, and reopen. Your JAVA will function.

Go to your favorite Youtube page, for example :

Add "want" before the word "youtube" in browser address bar, then press Enter :

You will be redirected to our website and you can download videos from the format list.

(Way 2) - This way is available for ALL kinds of video-sharing websites!
Go Wantyoutube: http://www.wantyoutube.com/
Paste the video URL onto the address bar (see pic below) . Then press "WANT TO DOWNLOAD"
You will be redirected to our format list!

Which format do I need?

Wantyoutube provides videos formats as: MP3, 3GP, MP4, FLV, webm...

If you need video's audio (sound track/music) only, please choose MP3.
If you need formats for playing on your PC, you can choose FLV.
If you need the format for your Android, choose webm(MKV-HD Quality).
If you need to use in your mobile phone, ipod, ipad, iphone, choose 3Gp or MP4.

How should I do next?

For example, I need 3GP format. Right-click the "3GP" box in WANTYOUBE FORMAT LIST. Choose "SAVE LINK AS..."

Then follow the instruction below.
1. choose the destination your file goes.
2. rename filename if you like (you don't have to add the file extension)
3. press OK



Be aware that if the filename is an uncoded name, remember to rename it to "xxxxx.3gp" (In most cases you don't have to do that, but sometimes it happens due to your pc conditions...)
(xxxxx is whatever name you like, if you are doing in a format of MP4, of course, you should rename the extension to "xxxx.mp4"......this depends on the format you choose....)
